IT IS LISTED FOR INFORMATION ONLY
    Luftwaffe Beobachtungsuhr issued by the German Air Ministry during WWII to Air Crews for specific long range flying missions. With the outbreak of WWII the Air Ministry recognised the need for an efficient observer watch to be used for astronomical navigation, assisting crews of long range flying missions.
  • Brass case with thick nickel-silver plated finish.
  • Supply contract number FL23883 on side of case.
  • Early example of Lange Observers watch with gilt movement and goose neck fine regulation.
  • Productions from 1943 were no longer finished to this standard and did not have a goose neck regulation any more.
